Building a Living Space Elevator ( artwork )
Every other nation spend their time building infrastructure, establishing new cities and doing other things you would expect from someone just given new land. Not these guys. These weirdos, the Horror Faction, as they are lovingly know these days, spent all that time engineering this massive creature in the center of their country and doing nothing else worth attention. No roads, no cities, nothing. We made fun of them a bit, but who cares how inefficiently other nations spent their time really.
Except that after a few years, after everyone else had a passable civilization going, the Horror Faction activated their strange creature and it built everything they needed in a casual afternoon. It grew entire cities, filled fields with expanding factories of flesh and sprouted and connected a fully functional living space elevator. After that we kind of got used to just letting them do their thing and wait and see what else this creature can do, if it's ever activated again.
So that's a little bit of lore I'm slowly putting in to this game and I will include this illustration to help explain that sooner or later. And don't worry, I'm working on other stuff besides artwork for the game as well, but stuff about coding probably won't interest many people. I'll try to share screenshots of new levels I'm finalizing soon though.
In this illustration I challenged to use only the basic spray brushes, no erasers, no hard lines, nothing. Why? Because I like to experiment with various techniques. Also here is a gif of my process: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/zPD9Ad
